External Mill
Our external mill is strategically designed to streamline the initial stages of textile production. These facilities include dedicated zones for raw material intake, preliminary processing, and storage. With wide access roads for seamless logistics, secure entry points, and structured layouts, the setup ensures efficient material flow and quality preservation before internal processing begins. This infrastructure forms the backbone of our operational reliability and production scale.
External Facilities Overview
A fully equipped intake hub designed to manage, assess, and prepare every fiber before production begins.
Sadiq Textile Mills operates a purpose-built external mill facility, strategically located near major transport routes for seamless raw material intake and flow. This site functions as the first touchpoint in our spinning pipeline — a highly organized area where every incoming fiber batch begins its journey toward becoming a world-class yarn.
The external mill is equipped with:
- Covered unloading bays to protect fibers from environmental exposure.
- Digital weighing stations for accurate intake recording.
- Inspection zones where experienced personnel assess incoming material quality before internal dispatch.
- Pre-cleaning systems that remove coarse impurities early, streamlining further processing stages.
- Blending storage silos for temporary fiber storage under controlled humidity and airflow.
This facility ensures a buffer between sourcing and production — enabling smooth material transition, batch tracking, and clean, contamination-free handoff to the main production lines. The external layout reduces traffic within the core factory and enhances overall logistics performance, ensuring uninterrupted spinning operations.
Raw Material Sourcing
Strategic procurement of premium fibers from trusted origins, ensuring quality from the very first thread.
At Sadiq Textile Mills, quality starts at the source. Our raw material sourcing strategy is built on trust-based supplier relationships, rigorous selection protocols, and continuous quality evaluation.
We procure a diverse range of fibers, including:
- Merino and other premium wool types
- Synthetic fibers (e.g., acrylics, polyesters)
- Wool blends tailored for specific fabric applications
Sourcing is done globally, including from Australia, South Africa, and regional farms across Pakistan, allowing us to meet seasonal demand and maintain consistent stock.
Key aspects of our sourcing process:
- Supplier vetting and annual audits
- Lab-based fiber sampling and micrometer testing
- Moisture and contamination checks at source and on-site
- Batch tagging and digital traceability
By integrating quality control early in the process, we ensure only the most uniform, long-staple, and high-purity fibers are selected — the hallmark of high-grade worsted yarns. Our procurement team works in tandem with production to align sourcing volumes with manufacturing schedules, optimizing both quality and efficiency.
